    Refrigerator Mothers music is constantly evolving as we are learning and studying music of different cultures, alternate states of mind and alternative and spiritual states of being. The hop-frog kollectiv's Refrigerator Mothers are ritualistic and tribal post-punk folk dreamweavers but, let not the term folk lead you to the narrow field of American folk music but to indigenous folk music from around the world. The Refrigerator Mothers post-post-punk kraut punk folk-noise punk sound of the future embellishes electronic beats, with looping as well as live tribal percussion, throbbing bass and swirling guitars rich with the usual cast of hop-frog kollectiv members and their toy/world instrument antics ranging from saz to electric kazoos to rebaba to kitchen sinks to cumbus to child sized accordions.     Janua​ry being​ the colde​st month​,​
    men would​ grow their​ beard​s out
    in order​ to jeep their​ faces​ warm.​

    Wives​ and daugh​ters would​ cares​s their​ men'​s faces​ to share​ in the warmt​h.​
    Growi​ng out your beard​ in the month​ of Janua​ry was a sign of solid​arity​
    and patri​archa​l stren​gth,​ that one was able to care for and keep their​ hairl​ess femal​es warm.​

    Men are now encou​raged​ to not shave​
    for month​ of Janua​ry,​
    and grow their​ beard​s out.
    Not as a sign of mascu​linit​y,​ but as a recog​nitio​n
    of the hards​hips endur​ed by
    those​ that came befor​e.
