About me:
Refuge is a group dedicated to providing opportunities for the 18-30 generation to grow in their faith and understanding of God. We are based in Kenosha and Racine Wisconsin. Through prayer, Bible study, great friendships, and music we explore questions on God, Jesus, life, and much more. Check our calendar for upcoming events.

Who I'd like to meet:
Any and all are welcome to attend our Refuge events. We have intentionally geared our events toward those between the ages of 18-30, but if you fall outside of that age range you are still more than welcome. Refuge is for those who know Jesus and love to worship Him in a community setting, as well as those who are just curious about Christ or Christianity or religion in general.

Wormy (Tim)	Sep 3 2008 1:53 AM Tim, How are things going with Refuge? It has been a very long time since we have connected. It appears you still have a good amount of people connected with Refuge. I wanted to tell you about a church I am involved with and ask you to send it out to your Refuge group. Harvest Bible Chapel (Rolling Meadows, IL) has been planting churches throughout the world for the past 10 years. Last year I helped plant one in Oak Creek, WI. We have been meeting at South Shore Movie Theatre for the past 6 months but we are on the move again. It's very hard when you don't have a church home to accommodate the needs of the church. But by God's hand he keeps giving us a better facility for our needs! Starting this Sunday (09.07.08) we will be at the Oak Creek Community Center (Hwy 38 or Howell Ave). Our service starts at 10AM. We just hired a young worship pastor who is doing an awesome job! If there was a "refuge type" he would be in it. All focus is on the Lord and none on him. Our Pastor, Joe Martinez, is speaking God's word with authority! Have you ever wanted to ask questions but were too afraid to ask? Have you ever doubted your faith? Or God? Or the Bible? Have you ever asked yourself “What does that verse mean?” The fuse provides a safe environment to ask your spiritual questions and find truth. A few topics to be discussed are Grace, Eternity and Prayer. We provide the coffee, you provide the questions. Our guest theologian is Dr. Bob Condly, a pastor in Brookfield, Wisconsin with a doctoral degree from Marquette University. The fuse is for young adults up to age 29 and high school seniors. Polo	Apr 26 2007 2:30 AM hey there will be 48 hours of nonstop worship this week, starting thursday night at midnight going through saturday till midnight. It is at fellowship of christian believers. The point is to pray for the city of racine, and to soak in gods presence. come check it out!
