Reggae4Africa is a concert promotion team working with Jamaican Gold. We are based in the US, the West Indies, Japan, Europe and yes, in Africa.
Our purpose is to promote positive global awareness toward Africa, through the medium of Roots African cultural events- especially Reggae Music shows, on all continents.
Through the medium of Reggae Music, we wish to bring the world's attention and focus, to a solution oriented approach concerning the trials and tribulations of all African people, wether on the African continent or the Diaspora.
Reggae Music is a globally celebrated art - which brings to mind positiveness, and universal love. It stands today as the fastest growing Music movement in the world, which has conquered the hearts of people everywhere since its humble beginings in Jamaica in the 1970's. Reggae is a musical movement inspired by the African heritage and the cultural aspirations of the Jamaican people, and the other Carrabean Africans. Its most famous ambassador, Bob Marley, lead singer of the super group 'The Wailers' was named artist of the 20th century by Time magazine for his overwhelming success, which put him ahead of any other artist in history in terms of planetary recognition. Bob is the shortest recognizable artist's name in the world. When you say "Bob's music" everyone knows you mean Bob Marley.
Reggae Music is alive on all continents, in virtually all languages, and is making people feel the positive vibes in virtually every country of the world. No other music genre can even come close to making such a claim.
Reggae4Africa and Jamaican Gold are taking that potential for attention and focus, to return some of the positiveness created by Reggae Music back to its original birthing space: the African Continent. This is achieved by promoting Reggae events which will draw practical helpful energy toward Africa. Through Reggae festivals on the African continent, we wish to help and promote the work of humanitarian organizations and associations which have existing programs to help the African people in need, especially the children, in every country in Africa.
The next Reggae4Africa Festivals will be held in Europe and Morocco, featuring the highest names of Reggae Music, who will join in this great endeavor to honor the Motherland of Humanity and Music.
