About reggaeland

Nuestra escena reggae, ha crecido mucho en los últimos diez años. Como ocurre en Europa, los soundsystems ya son el formato corriente que difunde el reggae en el país, hay locales de ocio nocturno que dedican parte de su programación a este género, las actuaciones de músicos y artistas jamaicanos internacionales son habituales hoy, y ya interesa a profanos. En este contexto aparece el sello Reggaeland, como fruto de una década de trabajo. Este sello de Barcelona nace oficialmente en 2004 con la intención de dar a conocer artistas de la escena local, sobre ritmos de inspiración 100% jamaicana. Des de esta plataforma han dado los primeros pasos discográficos artistas como Nano Bravo, Supah Bassie o Queen Smiley de Valencia, Mjr y Ras Lutah de Barcelona. Llega ahora el momento de abrir la puerta a sonidos renovados, voces diferentes, otras melodías y crecer un poco más.
