"Reggie, I just followed your link and as soon as it opened up, I was knocked on my ass by your gutsy singing and slide guitar blues playing. I can't recall ever being so instantly taken by any performer/songwriter in my life. Now I know I've gotta get all your CD's. No bullshit, man, in my mind you are king of the blues." (Charles)
"I've been to LA. I've been to New York. I've been to San Francisco, Chicago, Memphis, Kansas City and New Orleans and I have never heard anybody like you!" (anon)
"Tom Waits meets Screamin' Jay Hawkins. Great music!" (Chris)
Five Stars! A must Cet album est l'un de mes préférés de l'année. Sensationnel chanteur et virtuose incomparable Tank you Reggie! (author: CHESNAIS Michel)

Influences
Early American acoustic blues, jazz, hillbilly, jug band, folk and novelty music.
My music has been influenced by the music of my top friends here at MySpace and others like them.
A great place on this ol' highway to check out.

"Your song stopped me dead in my tracks!" L. Bloomer
A listener at my Jazz In The Valley performance wrote: "We loved your stories, BTW. Particularly about how you put together that one amazing guitar. You have a very nice comfortable way of telling it. My 78 year old mother really enjoyed your performance as well. (We were sitting up front and wanted you to know we very much enjoyed your talent and style.)
"I had been impressed with your performance and found the singing saw a ‘must see’."
Here's a video that was captured of me offering my bottleneck slide interpretation of an old blues song, Goin' T' Brownsville, on open mic night at Old Strokers in Everett, WA. It starts out with me briefly introducing my homemade "Nobro" resophonic guitar and explaining some of the various recycled garage sale junk that I used in it's construction. Enjoy!
Here's a fun one for the big Spooktacular, my version of "The Man With The Beard". Enjoy!
Here's another video from The Moore Theater's, More Music @ The Moore, show. This one features a brief jam I had on stage with Artis the Spoonman. I was playing my 1929 Maytag wash-o-matic and he's clackin' away on spoons, pie servers, butter knives, forks, bones and just about anything else he can get his hands on. I like callin' him the spoon tornado.
I've been waiting patiently for this video of my performance at The Moore Theater to appear and I just spotted it posted on YouTube by The Seattle Theater Group. It features me offering a verse of an old Joni Mitchell song "Both Sides Now" with my musical saw. In this collaborative piece, I'm joined by many of the talented young performers that were featured in the Moore Theater's 2009 edition of their annual show, More Music at the Moore, including The Eriam Sisters, who are competing in America's Got Talent.

Here's a newly posted YouTube video that's actually a cleverly disguised slide show with music accompaniment. It features me playing washboard and harmonica along with Bill Merwin's version of a Dan Hicks song, "Waiting". Unfortunately, there're no images included of either Bill or me in the slide show. It is a good rendition of the song and a good representation of my washboard scrubbin' and harmonica huffin' about 20 years ago.
In April of 2008 "These Old Shoes" won a contest. It was voted the number 1 pick of 402 entries in a competition to win an opportunity to play the famed Newport Folk Festival. I must be doing something right.
I was a guest artist on the Blue Healers new release, "Shake You Down" playing the horn leads with my musical saw of an old Otis Spann number called, "My Love Will Never Die." As a result, they invited me to play a set at their release party. The following song was captured.
Unfortunately, the EZ Folk website is up for sale. I'm trying to rebuild at a couple of new places. One is sponsored by Google and called Sites,
Look for my latest at either of these two sites online.
I don't know what will be in store for EZFolk in the future. If you like what you've heard here at MySpace do check out the offerings at my EZ Folk site while they last.
Want to know even more? Okay, Google me!
Yep, I need to build my own website that doesn't cater to ads! Yuk! Even this site has gone insane with them! If you've got any ideas that you can share, please send them along.
Dear Reggie
I am organizing a benefit for the Greenwood Fire Relief Fund to help people
unemployed by the arsons in Greenwood last month. It would be awesome
if you came and sing with us, with or without your guitar. The event is
free, but we are selling cookies and pie to raise money.
Making my way around to thank you for your great music.. We as fans are proud to have you as our friend. Thanks again for being mine. R-n-R Keep it Loud
