A native of Alabama Reggie started his comedy career in the vibrant city of San Francisco, he is considered a star on the rise in the local comedy scene. In 2007 Reggie was a finalist for NBC’s Stand-Up for Diversity Showcase, he was also featured on the second season of Martin Lawrence Presents. In 2008 he traveled overseas to perform for the troops and taped Comics Unleashed with Byronn Allen. He has worked with some of comedy’s brightest stars from Dave Chappelle, Ian Bagg, Arj Barker, Damon Wayans, Freddy Soto, Pablo Francisco, to Wanda Sykes and many more. He’s funny, charismatic, and smart. His natural way of telling stories and unique outlook has made him a favorite to a wide variety of audiences. Ask Reggie and he’ll say "he’s just doing what he loves to do" and that’s apparent every time he takes the stage.

Not In a Gay Way
Comedians Kevin Avery and Reggie Steele bring the public a hilarious Nike commercial in “Not In a Gay Way”. In this short, Reggie teaches Kevin - and the rest of us - that it’s okay for a man to compliment another man’s physical appearance.
Exceptional in its entirety, “Not In a Gay Way” features a stellar cast with tremendous chemistry, first-rate writing, and sensational directing and editing. Avery and Steele demonstrate a natural on-screen presence creating a completely believable experience; easily, these two could be the guys at the local basketball courts playing pick-up ball. Steele’s natural charm and wit come through to create an uproariously funny performance.
The sketch takes on what we have all once considered a socially awkward situation, exaggerates and twists it into something hysterically outrageous. It’s not only a brilliant overall story, but the individual lines take it to a whole new level. My personal favorite: “…your back look all strong. You’ve been doing some back exercises? Your vertebrae straight. You’ve got good posture.”
Excellent directing and editing pulled the short together to create what I will now call “Comedy Magic.”

Reggie Steele's Interests
General
My interest really vary, I like a little bit of everything, I am pretty open minded. But my main interest is COMEDY!! That's why I'm here, just doing my thing.
Music
Hip Hop - B.I.G, Jay-Z, Redman, Nas, Outkast, Wu-Tang, The Roots, Common, Kanye West, MOS DEF, Prince Ali, Talib Kweli, Wyclef, The Fugees, Em, 50 Cent (yup I said it-dude makes hits, believe that) and many others. Some R&B-Anthony hamilton, A. Keys, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Punk (AFI), and Alternative. I just like good music, I don't care who made it or where their from. It's creative and original I can rock that....Hell I even have a few country songs I like. Don't judge me!! Enjoy Young Forever, Jay-Z, The Blueprint 3.
Movies
I like all kinds of movies rangeing from Coming to America, Gladiator, The Incredibles, Lord of the Rings (all 3), Spiderman 1 & 2, Fade to Black, Bigger & Blacker, Harry Potter, Malcom X, Snatch, Training Day, Jerry Maguire, There's Something about Mary, Princess Bride, told you I like all kinds of stuff.
Television
I can't really get down with Network Television, it's too formulalic for me. Every show is something I've seen a bazillion times already. It's like I can predict the next line in every show. There are ony a few shows that really push you to think outside the box. And then get cancelled, because everyone wants to be spoon feed. Let me get off my soap bow before I go too far. But I do like The 4400 on USA network on cable (an Original idea), The Wire, The Sopranos, Sex in The City, Mind of the Married Man (when it was on), Larry David,...all the HBO shows.
Heroes
Anyone who has overcome struggle and made things happen in a positive way.

About me: About me...I'm a Comedian, Son, Friend, Counsin, Lover, and Mystery. I love music, and I love talking. I'm a good listener, i've learned that if you are quiet and keep your mouth shut people will tell you everything you need to know about them and some things you REALLY need to know about them. I'm a social butterfly and a loner. I can be stubborn and compromising. I have an enormous amount of tolerance when people wrong me but very quick tempered when it comes to others. I have dreams of being a super hero, to some I am. To others I'm that dude that's always trying to find a way to work stuff out. I'm a morning person, I can be very emotional and I can be very cold. I love the stage and performing. I watch tons of comedy stand-up DVD's over and over again. I am a student of the craft, I watch, listen, write and learn. I like to test the boundaries but never cross the line...too much. I'm a flirt, very confident and subtle. I am open minded, never surprised, and non-judgemental. My Goal is to stay busy, stay consistant, and stay. A line that describes how i feel, "youngins ice grillin me, you not feelin me, fine, cost you nothing pay me no mind, i'm on my grind cousin got no time for frontin, sensitive thugs ya'll all need hugs!!"-JAY-Z (THE BLUEPRINT) NOW- HOLLA ATCHA BOY!! PEACE.
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet down to earth people that are trying to do something with this thing called life. And people who love comedy and love to laugh. And anyone who just wants to make a new space friend, hell, I'm down for the cause. Let's make it happen. Now gone and hit the add a friend button, you know you want too. Also, I would love to meet Jay-Z.
