I started singing when I was 16 years old, before - I played the classical piano for 12 years. I went through all the music, soul, blues even western music and german stuff, later on worked with jazzmusicans. Worked with a lot of famous musicans in jazz - ok - that*s done..... I put it in a nutshell.....
My greatest sucess in commercial music was a soundtrack called "Solo Sunny" - 1980.
Years ago I discoverd my love for brazilian music and the brazilian portuguese language. The old stuff.... choros, chorinhos, pagode.... I especially love Cartola and Pixinguinha.
Now and than I'm singing myself few songs in portuguese.
Since 22 years I'm running the oldest and the most famous jazzclub in Europe - The "Jazzkeller" in Frankfurt am Main - Germany. Sometimes you can catch me there on stage...
