I’ll do a brief presentation about myself. I began my musical studies at 10 years old in elementary school’s choir, where I had my first basic grasps about music reading and perception. One year later I learned my first guitar chords by my father's influence. When I was 17, I studied classical guitar and it was from that period I decided to take it seriously in my life. Since then I have worked in recording studios, doing shows and teaching. I have a heavy metal band called Masterpiece, that’s working “on the road” since 1998. In 2006 we released the EP called “The Seventh Card” that was praised by the critics. Over Masterpiece I’ve played with Liberty Expression band and also several rock bands.

Irei fazer uma breve apresentação sobre mim mesmo. Iniciei na música com 10 anos de idade, estudando no coral da escola primário, onde tive minhas primeiras noções sobre leitura e percepção musical. Por influência de meu pai aprendi meus primeiros acordes no violão. Aos 17 anos estudei violão erudito e a partir desse período decidi levar a sério a música como meio de vida. Tive poucos professores de guitarra, a citar o nome de Marcos Annuseck como maior referência. Recentemente estudei composição e arranjo com Aldo Landi.
Já atuei como músico de estúdio e hoje além de shows e workshops também me dedico ao ensino da guitarra.

The Ruby Slippers are the magical shoes worn by Dorothy (played by Judy Garland) in the 1939 MGM movie The Wizard of Oz. In the film, Dorothy acquires the slippers after her house falls on and kills the Wicked Witch of the East, freeing the Munchkins from the Witch's tyranny. In return for her unintentional good deed, Dorothy receives the slippers to protect her from the Witch's vengeful sister, the Wonderful Wicked Witch of the West. Dorothy knows the slippers are magical, but she is unaware of their specific powers. Only at the end of the film does Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, reveal the slippers' secret: Whenever Dorothy wishes, she can return home to Kansas by simply clicking her heels three times and repeating, "There's no place like home". In L. Frank Baum's original novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Dorothy wore silver slippers. The movie's creators changed them to ruby to take advantage of the chromatic possibilities of the new Technicolor film process. In the scene below- Our heroine confronting that nasty Dorothy (in the Ruby Slippers) and the Scarecrow. Ruby Slippers are for the best bad girls!
Well in the UK usually only the north gets snow. The rest of the UK gets snow every few years or something. Last year it snowed here in the south and it was such a shock that the schools had to close because no one knew how to drive in it! I had almost a week off work - amazing hehe :P
This weekend I spent time with my mother and watched a lot of TV. It was very relaxing. This week is very busy for me - I have something happening every night so I am enjoying the quiet while I can!

Hey sweetie!!! I know, I'm sorry, I'm a shit friend haha. I have been quite busy at work and also really tired in the evenings so I haven't been commenting much lately. But it doesn't mean I don't think of you :)
Well... December is going to be a good month for me because I can relax and enjoy Christmas. I did all my Christmas shopping early so each weekend now is mine to just lay around and enjoy myself.
Do you have plans for a party at New Year? This year I'm going to be boring and stay home for New Year's Eve. I have a lot of nice things planned for 2010 so I want to save my money ;)
