Some small facts around club SKOLDISCO: Almost all of us (Dj..s) are born in the 70..s. Our motto at the club: To bring back memories from yours/ours teenage period. We hope that everyone entering our arena has got the distance you need to actually think this is fun. Cuz not everybody feel great about their teens. Here you can laugh about it, and do lots of stuff ( get drunk for one..) you could..nt do when you were underage. We play lots of different music styles, mostly from the 80..s. Like Synth-pop, Italo, pure disco hits and some pop-rock. But we have alot of 90..s eurodance too. Just to please the younger generation :-)
We want everyone to feel free from trends and all this "hey-I..m-so-cool" vibe. So.. We have so much clothes there, from the 80..s 90..s, that everyone can let go of the stress getting dressed at home ;-) Try It out folks! Welcome to our SKOLDISCO!! These two hot-shots going to After-Ski party!

About me: I..m a painter, performer, promotor, Dj and a gatherer. I grew up in a small town, about 300 km north of Stockholm, in Dalarna. Started drawing as a really young kid, and my first fans was my classmates. Atleast the nicer ones. Soundpicture was very important in my work. I made sfx with my mouth to my drawings. Maybe thats why I got fans?
Anyway, I got pretty hooked up rightaway. Drawing war, and cowboys shooting Indians and so forth. Cars was also a big interest, and me and my father used to go to races and shows. And my next step was to draw racecars. Page to page in my drawing-books filled with coloured cars, with stickers and all. I think that..s when I really got into watching the reality.
But first I had to go thru my teenage. It was like many others. You know, finally got the good look after beeing fat your whole childhood, and so forth. Got girls, got fucked up and started smoking cigarettes, drinking beer and doin graffiti.
Graffiti was one of the real big doors into the artworld for me.
Still It took a couple of years until I got into artschool though. After graduating artschool, I had found a way into that world again. Mixing medias and Illustrating the same details that took place in my childhood drawing-books.
Memories of sound/Music also had a very strong influence to me. Beeing a teenager going to the disco. Listening to music while reading a book... Like having the soundtrack from ( Vangelis ) " Blade Runner " in the speakers while playing with STAR WARS. Memories of place and light, and so forth. All where there is music/sound in the background. That is a reason why I now taken up performance. That..s really where I could create a live memory.
So that Is what I..m working with today. Building a bridge between memories from beeing a kid, and growing up beeing a man. So please enjoy...
