About me:
Early in the 15th century, the Inquisition, under Tomás de Torquemada created "The Order". The Order was a section created to eliminate all the reincarnations of witches for the centuries to come. Their members were trained assassins and monks, known for their cruelty. In their possession lay the sword "Reiki", slayer of witches: a sword that can cut the astral-line of witches, disabling their chance for reincarnation. But the sword is lost in the 17th century and The Order are unable to stop the Witches from being re-born. Now for centuries The Order and the Witches have been reincarnating over and over again, fighting their war, until the day "Reiki" is discovered again...
Reiki would be the first feature film made in Belgium where it will be entirely created by the internet community.
A story inspired by a real Belgium legend!
To be able to create this ultra-low budget feature film, our aim is to gather 4000 euros minimum and maximum 10000 euros! For that amount we will be able to shoot this 90 minute feature film! A budget that can be considered extremely low, but it is totally possible! (think of El Mariachi that costed 7000 dollars, and there the money was for the filmstock meaning the actual amount of money was not even 1000 euros, while here we are shooting on HD!).
Now here comes the interesting part: YOU DON'T HAVE TO DONATE TO TAKE PART IN THE STORY! You can subscribe in our forums, take part in the adventure, and later on you can always donate something if you feel like it! So NO OBLIGATIONS! Now if you donate 10 euros, you would get a "producer" credit.
But it doesn't stop there: If you donate 25 euros or more, you'll get a signed copy of the DVD and an invitation to the Premiere and Party!
Now on the site, you would have the option to take part on the story, meaning, different polls will take place, and calls for ideas in the story to which you would participate. Also, different art contests would take place: meaning, the designs of weapons and clothes would be done by you guys, and the winner voted also by you! One other advantage is that you would also be able to take a part in the film as an extra (meaning a living deador a medieval extra), make-up specialist, and others,..
And all that will give you more credits in the movie than the classic: "producer" where you actually aren't on the set of the film.
And since it's not a short film, but this time a feature, the movie will then be released on DVD! And even, maybe the theaters!
