This story gets longer every year so how about just some highlights? First I am a multi-dimensional person with varied interests and skills. I play guitar, drums and keyboard. I have a 12 track digital studio, electronic drums and a collection of guitars. I played professionally for 8 years with one group which eventually was called Hands Down (Jesse Dupree of Jekyll was our lead singer and rhythm guitarist) and a local Atlanta (non-touring) group called T. Lewis. By profession I am an Operations Director and have been for the last 15 years with two different companies. For 6 years I was Director of iCobb Media Group and we did multimedia online production as well as early online catalogs and search engine development for some fairly top industry clients. The last 9 years I have been Director of Operations at Novastar Home Mortgage and Novation Mortgage in Atlanta, Georgia. Gardening is a passion of mine and I love to grow salsa. Well, I still have to assemble it but I grow it! I still keep a few online clients. They used to be called online marketing clients and now they are called "New Media" clients. Since I had my hands in early search engine programming I'm pretty proficient in understanding how to get to the top of search engines. I kept Novation at the top of Google or in the top 5 for a few different search phrases for many years without ever spending a penny outside of my salary. Every Tuesday I co-host a Blog Talk Radio show called "Social Media Edge" which I founded as "Twitter Tuesday" in November 2008. It's at Social Media Edge. I still like to hand code HTML and JavaScript and even AJAX. I know there are a lot of tools out there and I have some but hand coding is a blast. Call me old fashioned :)
