I hate the Hollywood type formula because in the end every movie becomes the same story; BORING.
I use to love watching the "Saturday Night at the Movies" with Elwy Yost. The old classics i still like.

Heroes
I'm still thinking about this one. I think the real hero's are the "Givers", the nameless ones who remain anonimous because it never enters their thinking to recieve recognition for their actions. They are so preoccupied with their "standard of giving" that they are oblivious to their "standard of living". Who's only fret of poverty is that their giving would be jeparodized. They don't associate riches with material wealth. They understand the true meanings of Grace, Mercy and Forgiveness to be more than expensive religious cliches, more than gold decorations on an empty chalice.
These are the ones I aspire to be like but find myself falling far short and am continually frustrated that even my motives here are selfish.
With all respect to so many who list Jesus Christ as their hero I personally find it a bit simplistic to say he is my "hero" although that is the title for someone who saves your life.
I'm not sure why but I can't really say that i have a lot of heros in my life. Definitely my Dad and Mom are heros to me and with the recent passing away of my "Uncle George" George Zondervan I realized how much I looked up to him and respected him.

Who I'd like to meet: I think the whole friend list below is a good start to who I'd like to meet. Most of you I'd like to meet on a regular basis unfortunately distance is an obstacle.

me too, but I think making new memories is upon us now.Trev really thinks alot of you guys and would like to connect more somehow. Your insights inspired me to write a song today, it is probably the most beautiful and true thing I have written in a very long time. thank you for being just like you are. Trev and I talked for hours after you left and just what you had to say made so much sense of things to me and tied alot of loose ends up in my mind.
