Influences
We grew up listening to various rock and metal bands like:
Black Sabbath, Kiss, Motörhead, W.A.S.P., Twisted Sister, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe, Metallica, Slayer, Sepultura, Iron Maiden, Guns n Roses, Backstreet Girls... + early death, thrash metal and early norwegian black metal and a whole lot of other bands and genres too!
Spelar ein herleg frekk blanding av fjøsapunk/bondemetl med ein god dose rock n' roll trykka inni. Tekstane går først og fremst i tema som konsumering av større mengder alkohol, hyppig seksuell aktivitet, diverse merkelige persongalleri og ein relativt stor dose rompehumor.
Båååv har eksistert i meir eller mindre aktiv tilstand sidan 1998, har aldri vore innom arbeidsmoral eller tiltakslyst, bandet går i dvale mellom kvar gong noko faktisk skjer. Fantastisk uambiøse. Båååv er absolutt eit rølpeband eller humorband om du vil og bør absolutt takast med ei aldri so lita klype salt. Kjem for Systrond (eller Hermansverk - Leikanger om du vil) i Sogn, Indre.

Båååv is a joke/comedy band from Norway with norwegian lyrics. We only write humorous and deranged lyrics in our local dialect, playing a weird mixture of punk/metal/rock n roll. Silly riffs, silly songs, silly lyrics. Allright!
