    In 2008 Two Brothers "Hrayr & Masis Mardirossian"formed this group, they selected the name "Relics of Martyrs", meaning: "Of All the Martyrs of the world especially ethnic minorities". during the first year after intensive search and rehearsals, they selected Zaher (Bass player) who is a childhood friend of Masis and also a member of the Jordanian National Rugby Team along side with Hrayr and Masis , Amr (Vocalist) , was a classmate of Hrayr in college, who was a singer in church choir and another band, while ROM was auditioning for singers, Amr was selected to be the lead singer of the band and the last member that joined the Band was Yazan (Lead Guitars) By Amr's recommendation. Yazan was given the opportunity to come and audition. He came from Sweden; he was selected to be the lead guitarist of the group.
