About Relics Of Rock

We are a Progressive-Rock band with our roots deeply bound in the style and form of the late 60/s to the mid 70's. Formed in the earlier part of the seventies, we have continually evolved from a straight 4/4 rock into more of a progressive, free-flowing style. Writing descriptive and melodic pieces are our major goal; music and lyrics that match the mood and movement of the song. Constantly writing more expressive music and lyrics as we progress, our group finds time to explore new ideas and direction

Oct 25 2009 8:44 PM The local preparation for Halloween is underway, and people are arming themselves up with weapons to fight the little savages when they emerge next weekend to steal our candy. Last year I broke most of my baseball bats in the battle, so this year I have replaced the bats with various lengths of steel pipe. Instead of boarding up windows and doors, I replaced them with concrete blocks and mortar. And for my comfort I put an electric heater in my machine gun nest on the roof, along with extra ammunition and food. Back in the good old days, the children would just simply rob you for candy at gun point, now they take the stuff and shoot you anyway. All they want is a sugar high, and they will do anything to get it.
