A spiritual support group for those who have relocated to the Houston Texas area.
Moved By God Relocation Ministry was created to meet the needs of relocators. The goal of the ministry is to help relocators transition more effectively into their new environment. Moved By God welcomes relocators into a loving environment, prevents/reduces relocation stress, provides relocators with practical information that will help them adjust to their environment, allows relocators to meet with others going through similar challenges and struggles, and provides stress management.
Some of the Moved By God activities include meet and greet fellowships, prayer meetings, tours of the Houston area, enjoyable outings which introduce relocators to local attractions, restaurants, etc., events/fellowships on holidays and times when relocators feel most alone and isolated. There are also outreach ministry activities such as street evangelism and ministering to the homeless. All activities are voluntary. Participants can be as active as they choose to be.
Founder and relocator J. Johnson is an ordained minister, National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor and Stress Management Specialist. Relocation Minister Johnson is a member of Lakewood Church in Houston Texas.
