A heavy-hitting 5 piece hailing from the outskirts of Melbourne, Remains are a band set to make their mark on the heavy side of the music scene in the near future. Drawing their influences from a number of different genres, they fuse many different musical elements into metal/death/hardcore songs that are unique, but also listenable and catchy. Having completed their first recording, a self-released 6 track E.P, in mid '08 which lead to a full victoria tour of 16 shows over the time spand of a month, Remains have since supported a number of prominent bands, including a Victorian tour with local veterans Frankenbok, a Melbourne show with hip-hop big guns Grips & Tonic, and a Geelong support slot for U.S deathcore heavyweights Whitechapel. and are now headlining many shows such as the all mighty ev's Metal fest which sold over 500 tickets to AA fans
The group have now commenced writing for their debut full length, with their newest efforts being played live alongside the better known tracks from the E.P. These new songs are a big step forward, and have received a very warm reception from the fans.
Never content to settle for mediocre, Remains are a breath of fresh air in an overcrowded scene and are set to soar in the years to come.
