Two childhood friends, John Sinnis and Nick Papadopoulos meet after a long
time for a cup of coffee. They talk about their common memories from gigs
they had done together with their bands in the past. They believe it' s time to
get back to music. But the idea is different this time...
Instead of forming a cover band like everybody else, John suggests the
creation of a tribute band. Thin Lizzy is John's favorite group and as Nick
adores Lizzy... the story begins.
They boys ask from their friend, guitarist, Panos Papapetros (a huge Gary
Moore and Thin Lizzy fan) to join the band. Panos, after being for a very long
time outside music, loves the idea and agrees immediately. The band already
has its twin guitarists and the bass player.
The search of a drummer is very hard. It's that Brian Downey playing.... After
many months asking and looking for a drummer, Orestis Tsinalis appears and
although he is much younger, he is the perfect choice for the drums.
Two other friends of the boys, Michael Dandoulakis and Vicky Archondouli join
the band for the vocals, giving the songs a new colour.
In 2006, Vassilis Nikolopoulos joins the band on keyboards.
During 2007, Michael unfortunately cannot continue with the band because of
his hard working schedule, and after some months, their friend George
Lagogiannis takes his place for the lead vocals.
"Remember Lizzy" continue their live performances in several clubs in Athens
and the reviews are always positive. Their main target is to let the Greek
people know Thin Lizzy's incomparable music...
