Originality and passion have become overlooked in a genre where quantity has become more important than content. Seeking to change that stigma, Remember The City has embraced this aspect. Formed out of the ashes of previous bands, Remember The City has sought to create something wholly original and unique. Not willing to conform to one style, they have tirelessly worked in their efforts to combine many musical styles ranging from indie rock to hardcore. As a result, they quickly established themselves as one of the premier bands in the Maryland scene.
Realizing that the band was on to something, Remember The City quickly head into the studio and recorded a three song demo, “The Beginning”. Months after being completed the band sold out of copies and decided to head back in to the studio to record their first CD, “Requiem”. This first CD only added fuel to the fire.
Seeking to capitalize off of that momentum and with one demo and an EP release under their belts, Remember The City quickly headed in to the studio to record their follow up EP, “Transgressions”. The result: a five song EP that has surpassed any of the band members expectations. Following the release of “Transgressions”, Remember The City is currently planning an east coast tour to take place in the upcoming winter, coupled with many shows in Maryland.
