REMEMBRANCE OF PAIN es una banda Colombiana de Metal que fusiona sonidos que van desde depresivos y atmosféricos ambientes a tiempo lento hasta fuertes riffs y melodías rítmicas que se van desarrollando en cada tema, todo acompañado con vociferaciones propias del Death Metal en contraste con voces claras y melodiosas, además de contar con abundantes arreglos electrónicos.
Su primer Compacto, “Beneath Our Shadows”, producido por la misma banda fue lanzado al mercado en el año 2004, compuesto por 11 fuertes y melodiosos temas de excelente calidad.
Ha participado en las compilaciones: “True Metal Subversión Vol.2” y “Conquer Winter Compilation” del sello londinense Conquer Records, permitiendo su difusión en el continente europeo.
En vivo ha compartido el escenario con bandas representativas a nivel nacional como Masacre, Souledge, Frankie ha Muerto, Tenebrarum, Gaias Pendulum, Cromlech, Athanator, Legend Maker, entre otras.
En el 2008 fue nominada en los Premios Subterranica a “Mejor Banda de Metal Doom o Gótico”.
En el 2009 estrena su segunda producción discográfica "Descending Into Chaos" que cuenta con 11 tracks y se puede percibir una notable evolución musical de la banda.
En la composición y grabación de este trabajo participaron Mateo Zuluaga, Rafael Muñoz, Xekthor, Julian Arroyave, Andrés Silva y Alejandro Toro, exceptuando la grabación de la percusión que fue ejecutada por Javier Torres, nuevo baterista de la banda.
En su trayectoria ha hecho parte de importantes eventos musicales como:

- Resurrection Live Festival – 2002 – Universidad de Medellín
- I y II Festival Cerro del Ángel – 2000 y 2001- Bello
