From its humble origins the Remix Factory has flourished into a bustling production house responsible for innovative commercial remixes as well as original productions, compositions, and spawning the new talents of tomorrow.
The Factory lives up to its name with two UK club chart 1s under its belt as well as a handful of international chart entries for their dancefloor-filling remixes. Their club productions have featured on releases from Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Cher , Whitney Houston, Lasgo and Nylon to name a few.
After dominating clubland the Factory branched out and started to promote their original productions, showcasing their talents in various genres including pop, rock, electronic, acoustic, ambient as well as dance.
One medium that allowed them to do this was the soundtrack of SEGA’s biggest selling video-game franchise “Sonic the Hedgehog”. The various titles that feature Remix Factory productions have sold millions of copies around the globe – several resulting in a CD soundtrack release.
The Factory also promotes their original work with other artists including electro-pop-rock artist Bentley Jones as well as Phunkstar’s collaboration with soul diva Rosie Gaines.
With unwavering distinction in everything they do, the Remix Factory has earned itself a secure plot on the international music scene for as long as they continue to provide their continually impressive and distinctive arrangements.
This
remix of Ciara's "1, 2, Step" was done as part of a showcase in New York which
eventually lead to our remix of label-mate
Britney Spears' "My
Prerogative" which was released throughout Europe. However this has remained one of Phunkstar's most sought after
productions following a preview on our website.
Hey Remix Factory! I love Dreams of an Absolution, especially the LB vs. JS remix. I really wish I could add the full version of the song to my profile. Keep up the great work!
Well, I haven't really found any good ideas. But I think I've got one in the works right now. Let me tinker it up, and you'll be the first to hear, lol.
