Dedicated to music since the age of thirteen, David Remming has had an unmitigated passion for writing lyrics and melodies that have the intention to speak to people through song in ways of comfort, nostalgic memories, anger, pain, and life's seemingly unanswerable questions. David Remming is a profuse writer and his blatant love for music and poetry pours through his songs. Virbrant and alive, it comes as a wonderful and much needed change in an industry overwrought with emotionless, vapid music. "My hope is that people can feel that they're not alone in this constant battle we call life. Music can be as medicinal as it can be destructive. Because it is such a powerful force, I think it gives musicians everywhere a heavy responsibility to their fans, loved ones, and especially themselves. Like with any gift it can either destroy you or become the greatest thing you've ever done. We all too often forget that music is a living organism; therefore it should be treated as one. I pray that people start listening to lyrics again, for they are the foundation in a song. The melodies carry the lyrics in a symbiotic relationship, poetry in motion. I hope that people enjoy my music and it speaks to them in ways regular forms of communication cannot. Music is one of God's greatest gifts and it can literally change the world. Even though David Remming has only been in Calgary for a short time, he has already performed at over 60 shows and followed country superstar, Paul Brandt.
