Who I'd like to meet: Remy Norton is actually my "nom de plume." My real name is Carla Norton; Remy is my mother's last name (it would be her maiden name but she never changed it when she married my father).
I was forced to adopt the pseudonym because I am a novelist, and there is already a popular writer by the name of Carla Norton. She writes books in the True Crime genre and has been doing so for at least twenty years. I considered "Carla Remy Norton" or "Carla Love Hewitt," but they just didn't feel right.
i want to invite you to my book signing on saturday afternoon, july 5th, in the borders store at 395 broadway, saratoga springs, new york. It starts at 2pm. I'll be signing copies of my science fiction novel "The Rise and Falling Out of Saint Leslie of Security." and yes, i'll have a huge hangover from the Attic of Love show, but it will still be fun. Hope you can make it.
the song 'Coming To Our Senses' is now part of our psy folk rock pop punk band Spiritual Science, because 'phi' is a more ambient instr-u-mental project.
;D ...well that depends on what you mean by 'sounds pretty',... do you mean 'tooo pretty' ? I wanted it to be a pretty song (influenced by The Byrds and the hyperdelic pop of Psychic TV), sad in the beginning & hopeful in thee end.
i have a song named after one of morris bermans books: 'coming to our senses'. i had the pleasure of meeting him in one of his seminars a few years ago; very edutaining!
Thanks for adding me! Emery has kept me up with you a bit. He's in L.A. right now. Say hey to Denise and Belfast for me. (I haven't seen you since those long ago early days...) Rebecca
