I was at a show, I dont remember the name, but it was in 2000 that I saw Kimball Collins. Im not quite sure what he spun that night, I actually dont think I've ever heard him play like that ever. I was completely sober and stuck in a "danny tenaglia trance"...if you've seen him your shakin everywhere... I was so mezmorized by the finesse and skill, so deep, dark, has a feeling.
My ass got a job at a Dr's office and saved all my mooolah for a shiny new set of Tech slk1200's, a vestax gold series mixer and began my journey. At first I loved it all and couldn't decide my genre... It all started with old jump up jungle...
