MySpace a place for friends

Born somewhere in central Florida at the end of the 80's [1989, to be exact], Renae DuHaime devoted her time as a child to singing along to every pop CD she could get her hands on.
This often meant the Spice Girls.

By the time she reached middle school, her voice had improved along with her taste in music. She started listening to bands such as the Ramones, Slipknot, New Found Glory, MxPx, and Green Day [pre-American Idiot], which inspired her to begin playing guitar at the age of 13. Renae tried to get bands started with a few of her friends, but none got past the beginning stages.

Throughout high school, her musical tastes expanded even further, and eventually she learned to love a little bit of every genre, but still held rock music as her favorite. She created this Myspace in April 2006 after recording a few of her original songs.

In Renae's senior year of high school, she started a ska-punk band with her friends Alex [bass] and Carol [drums] and became the lead singer/rhythm guitarist while they looked for another guitarist. Due to scheduling conflicts, Carol left the band, and Renae's brother, John, became the drummer. They had a few practices, but never found a steady lead guitarist, and although they are currently still together, they rarely ever practice.

Although she is a member of a band, Renae still pursues her solo career and is open to playing shows.
