Hi I'm Renae----I'm a singer and songwriter here in St. Louis, Missouri----------currently, I am looking for a new band----and I am also looking for a manager for my songs and career-----if any of you I am a singer/songwriter from St. Louis, Missouri. I have been a part of a band my entire musical career, but now things have changed a bit. I have been forced to become a solo artist in order to survive. Anyone who has been in a band knows all of the crazy things that can happen. Let's see, family problems, drug abuse issues, musical differences, lack of involvement, death, insanity, lack of money, gas prices, dog ran away, the sun came up, somebody got with the bar owner's wife, busted for fraud , failed connections with the mob and the list goes on and on. ================================================== *************I decided to remain a musician despite all of the ups and downs and realized something along the way. It's not me, it is the people I have worked with. This may sound cold or unappreciative. It is not for, I love and thank anyone and everyone I have ever worked with. You know who you are and you have helped to make me who I am. ************************ =================================================== ************* Unfortunately(or fortunately?), for me , this inability to connect musically has become a major facet of my career and a brutally honest truth. Music is in my blood, heart and soul. I am in search of a manager , producer or a financial investor who is connected to the music business.

Sounds Like
It's still funny to me when I get the----can you please sing a Janis Joplin song, you sound just like her. Yes, I do and accept it as an honor to even be compared to her. Honestly, I sound like myself and have been working on my own distinct sound for years. Anyone who knows me knows this, but I'm always happy to throw down some Janis. It's fun to do and I know Janis appreciates the songs, and her voice, being kept alive.
