Ryan Sweeney is the singer songwriter behind Roostar. Born and raised in South African, the end of segregation played out during his teen years infusing in him a melancholy tenderness that is the hallmark of his songs. Hip Hop / Trip Hop / Drum & Bass I always loved Hip Hop, but I was making faster shit like Drum n Bass , and, in this time I met the Bloch brothers (Kid Lyrical and Wizardry from Blades Of Hades), we started making Hip Hop eventually added DJ Skoob, and then U-Jive (The Herd) and Dusk, we released two albums (see below). Since then I've been making tunes with artists from around the globe, and here in Australia. "Liquor Store Hookers" with Southern California's Sol-T, "Audiobiotics" with Stylelistiks, and "Visual Thru Sound" with Da Brooklyn Kids (NY), Fluent Form (AU) , Natty (UK) and my man, Dukets.
