For This Project:
Inspiration began upon hearing "old-school" Nightwish. Others that followed would be: Epica, Almora, After Forever, Therion...and, "assorted" Classical influences...and, can't forget these two!!: Carl Stalling & Milt Franklyn (introduction to orchestral music).

...but thats not possible, as we are influenced by everything we hear, which in turn make's its way into our own music to a certain degree...
...like it or not, its true...nothing is entirely original.
Illusionary Renaissance - "Eel Marsh House(The Woman In Black)" - Video
"Illusionary Renaissance" is not a band, as of yet anyways. It is more of an Arjen 'Ayreon' Lucassen style project, in the sense that these are all "writing tracks", where other musicians are welcome to contribute to the songs, whether it be one song or many songs, done through file sharing. I'm particularly looking for vocalists, professional or non, as long as you have the necessary equipment to record your track(s) for a fairly decent quality recording. Please contact me if your at all interested, all are welcome.
