The Gulf Coast Renaissance Faire is proud to present the 1st Annual
GULF COAST FULL CONTACT JOUSTING TOURNAMENT to be held from January 22-24 at the Escambia Equestrian Center in Pensacola, FL.
This will be 3 days of Full Contact Tournament Jousting for the Honor of being Crowned the GULF COAST U.S. CHAMPION JOUSTER!!! Event/show hours are 6pm-10 pm Jan. 22, 12 pm-4pm and 6pm-10pm Jan 23, and 12-4 pm Jan 24. Admission is $15 adult, $10 child each show.
Full Contact Jousters from around the World will be present to fight it out for Honor and Glory!!!!
There will also be Full Contact Sword Fighting Battles, Other Renaissance Acts, Merchants with Wares, Food and Drink and Much More!

What is a Renaissance Faire? It is a living history event that attempts to bring those that attend back in time to the days of Knights, Kings and Queens, Swordfighting and Merriment! On November 14-15, 2009 the 8th annual Mobile Renaissance Faire will be held at the Hank Aaron Baseball Stadium, 755 Bolling Brothers Blvd, Mobile, AL 36606. 10 am to 7 pm Nov. 14 and 10 am to 5 pm Nov. 15.
On March 6 and March 7, 2010, at The Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds, 6655 Mobile Hwy., Pensacola, FL, the 9th annual Gulf Coast Renaissance Faire will be held from 10 am to 5 pm each day.
These 2 day festivals will each feature medieval Jousting Knights, Falconry, the King & Queen, Swashbuckling Swordsmen, Storytellers, Arabian Dancers, Gypsy Dancers, Magical Wizards, Medieval Fighters, Renaissance Dancers, Irish Dancers, Medieval Musicians, Sword Swallowers, Jesters, Jugglers, Fire Breathers, Renaissance Food & Drink, Medieval Camel & Pony Rides, Renaissance Games of Skill, Medieval Merchants with Thousands of Renaissance Wares and Crafts and much more!!! THE ONLY REAL LIVE JOUSTING ON HORSEBACK WITH MEDIEVAL KNIGHTS IN FULL ARMOR ON THE GULF COAST!
Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under. Free admission for children 4 and under. Admission includes one prize drawing ticket for plenty of Renaissance prizes to be given away by the King during the event. Spend your weekend at the Renaissance Faire and step back in time to enjoy the spectacular entertainment that you will see no where else!
