Formed on the very last day of upper 6th in 2005 by 2 like-minded, music obsessed chums (chris and simon), it's been a long gestation for this Carrickfergus based rock leviathan. However, it wasn't until the addition of drummer Dan Crowe in November of that year that the creative juices really began to flow. The band's first live performance didn't come until July 2006 at Northern Irelands premier summer music festival, Rock Oddity. Most recently Renetta came a proud second to Bangor band Dynamo in the Larne Battle of the Bands, winning a days recording time at Einstein Studios thanks to a very kind prize swap with Dynamo. Now, with the EP finally recorded, all thats left to do is gig and have a wee bit of fun...

My birthday... I have prov booked the Kiln for the 11th. It was already prov booked but they never rang to confirm it. If they don't by the end of next week I will get it. I also prov booked the 16th just incase.
Also... I am having a fundraiser for my Romania trip in the Olderfleet tomorrow night if any of you want to go! Tickets are £5! It starts at 7.30 and the DJ that is on after you at my birthday is DJing.
