Writers have compared my style to Lucinda Williams, Janis Joplin, Tom Waits, PJ Harvey, Townes Van Zandt, Mary Gauthier, Carla Bozulich, Gillian Welch, and James McMurtry which is some fine company, and I've had the pleasure of opening for Fred Eaglesmith, Ruthie Foster, Susan Gibson, and Buddy Mondlock.

Rene', Thank you for your nice compliment. I am enjoying listening to your tunes as well. Maybe I'll catch you when I do my Texas Tour in May of next year.
No problem. The show looked very good, and the people were great. BTW I'd like to get you opinion on something I've been doing. It's an instrument I built Called Framtar. There are some videos on my profile and a couple of pics in my Conceptual Art photo album. Something you said a long time ago about just getting out there and doing your thing really stuck with me and Framtar is a tribute to that spirit.

This is one of my favorite places to disappear to that I can get to on bike and believe it or not, it's in the FW city limits - although, you wouldn't know it when you are there - it's so quiet and hidden...and I'm tellin where it is!!
