We are "Rent-a-Friend" from around the Boston area. This group is a result of many other projects and bands from the past 7 years or so.
Our style of music can best be described as "Thumping British Rock". Although all our members hail from America, our sound and songwriting influences reflect the structure and three-part harmonies of bands across the sea both old and new. Combine that with a powerful rhythm section and dynamically-epic changes and you've got a new sound that we hope you enjoy.
We are just starting to get the ball rolling, still deep in the writting process and cleaning stuff up a bit, but we will be on the scene in no time. Hopefully you will enjoy our music and the live energy we can bring to your soul.

SoundSession'09 is New England's premier summer music festival in Rhode Island's capital city. A multi-stage, genre-defying event, the festival is produced by the Providence Black Repertory Company in collaboration with the City of Providence Department of Art, Culture & Tourism.
