Sounds Like
"A fabulous mash-up of high art and trash culture. The Sparks meet Supertramp played by My Life Story...epic kitchen sink sleazy glamour" (Rob Chapman, The HiFi Club, Leeds, 2004); "Like a three-way train crash between the Rocky Horror show, the Scissor Sisters and the Divine Comedy and bugger me if it isn't the most entertaining gig I have seen...The songs are wonderfully enjoyable, brilliantly performed and enticingly camp...There is nobody who entertains like Rent. I implore you to go and see them." (Stu Hudson, leedsmusicscene.net, 2005).
Delicate, dangerous and disgraceful...fusing lush, glamorous anthems with dark, decadent themes, and blessed with a lavish sense of theatre, Rent never leave the stage without delivering anything less than a full-blown show, a shameless musical romp through tenements and tea parties, mansions and maisonettes, palaces and portaloos...where broken hearts are mended by the degenerate and the damned.

Hi, thanks for adding me.
I know I may just be a crazy monkey hand-puppet, with a trilby and an obsession with bananas, but the 4 gals who help me with my page-thingy here also really love your music, and we can't wait to see you live at some point in the (hopefully) near future.
Hey thankx for the add and also the message...a band which communicates with its fans through myspace rather then just accumulating them, lush! Love Buffy its such an ace song!! Love,
i like the bit in the song where you talk about stuff.
No but seriously, it's quite a refreshing look on christmas i must say!
You won't see Noddy Holder singing that! To tell you the truth Noddy's a bit too ugly to be singing about that sort of thing. UNLIKE YOU QUITE ATTRACTIVE LOT!!!
Can't wait to see you live again. It's possible one of the most funky chunks of experience i've had in my short life. HUZZAH AND A MERRY, MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello Dan and the rest of the rent collectors. I remember having the first comment on the original Rent site many moons ago. Having check out your songs i must say that the band is maturing very nicely indeed. I love the introductory vocal refrain to your Taxi song. Her ladyship sends her love and fondest regards..........duffy ...not tin tin, the other one..........
