Not much is known about the enigmatic REO Stevewagon. Known for sporadic appearances in the Orange County, CA and Denver, CO areas, rumors abound about sightings in the Bay Area as well. Notorious for bursting on to the scene with a series of brilliant performances, and then disappearing back underground for long periods of time, the ever-elusive melody-maker has reached an almost legendary status of opulent obscurity.
Perhaps he was raised by wolves; other stories whisper of being a child of the blues itself, muttered tales of walking the dark purple plains of the Mississippi Delta, searching for soul and playing with anyone so long as they had food, a cigarette and a song to sing.
REO Stevewagon can now be found in the Bay Area, having a blast and always ready to belt out a tune.

I wanted to write to tell you that I love hanging with you and listening to the Mundaze, but I'm thinking that this part of the year, with so many holidays and party days, you must come over and drink just to drink!!! No bands needed...just some talk and some drinks!!! Did I mention drinks?
Broken Hearts were fixed by the Stevewagon last week! What a great performance by a great, new up and comer! You're a damn hard act to follow Stevewagon. Feel free to never open for me again. I refuse to follow such talent. Makes me look bad!!!
