i started reptakon when i was in a band with a college friend. needing to break away from the dead end of a nameless genre; the black cd was the 1st real attempt at a reptakon ep. After leaving the clutches of a band I found that i was able to get more creative songs going by myself. the red cd i made was the result of that rush of creativeity and from then on i knew how to get what i wanted. the blue cd which followed was where i started using a computer for recording. but i still think the songs before that one just have something about them that is more satisfying. eventually i hope to re-record everything untill it is acceptable and profitable ($). I then tried working with another acomplis / guitarist, but found that i just didnt have the time to contribute to a colaborative band. again and again, repeated attempts at working with drummers have fallen through... reptakon is becoming more of an invertion as time goes on... all in all, my music is about life and the lack there of... alllll reptakon songs are produced, recorded, and mixed in a bedroom via Garageband...
