Hailing from Switzerland and France, Requiem For Sirens has been blazing their own path through the metal and hardcore style with dedication and persistence since 2007. .. .. With their debut EP "The Pride In A Sinking Story" recorded in Paris and countless shows, REQUIEM created a growing buzz for themselves with their fast paced grooves and melodic approach to the metal genre, as well as all the time, effort and energy put into their shows creating epic performances touching all areas and styles within the genre. The release of "The Pride In A Sinking Story" allowed the band to show what they are made of and capable of. The EP stands tall and proud with impressive sales and thousands of downloads of its digital release, however it is only the beginning for Requiem For Sirens. .. .. With a line up that sports all different ages, come all sorts of different influences which displays a well-done balance of metal and melody and small traits of other styles including acoustic pieces and orchestras. Given their ability to draw the listener in with well though and meaningful lyrics about everything in life, Requiem For Sirens shows solidarity for their future as a band to be taken seriously. .. .. The six-piece band never depended on anyone but themselves to push their dreams forward.
