Resando were born in 2005 when Daniele and I decided to leave Leap For Joy - in which we respectively played drums and guitar - to change direction, forsaking hardcore, which wasn't delivering the early days emotions and moving towards a darker atmosphere.
Ivan, lead guitar, has also been in the band from the very start. We met between 2004 and 2005 while we were all members of an A Perfect Circle cover band. Impressed by his hypnotic and schizophrenic style we just understood he had to play with us.
For the following two years we locked ourselves in the rehearsal studio to come up with the seven songs we recently recorded at Luca Bilotta's Microcosmo Studio. Mixing was done at Fabio de Pretis' Blue Noise Recording Studio and mastering at Mauro Andreolli's das Ende der Dinge.
Sogni Oscuri was recorded in February 2008 at Luca Bilotta's Microcosmo Studio. It was mixed and mastered by Mauro Andreolli.
In April 2008 Mickey from Starchild joined the band on the bass.
Biografia
I Resando nascono nel 2005 quando Daniele ed io decidiamo di lasciare i Leap For Joy – nei quali suonavamo rispettivamente batteria e chitarra – per cambiare direzione, tradire l’hardcore che non ci trasmetteva più le stesse sensazioni dei primi tempi, e dirigerci verso atmosfere più dark.
Fin dall’inizio ha suonato con noi Ivan, il chitarrista, che abbiamo conosciuto perché ,per un breve periodo tra il 2004 e il 2005, facevamo tutti parte di una coverband degli A Perfect Circle. Impressionati dal suo stile ipnotico e schizofrenico abbiamo subito capito che doveva suonare con noi.
Nei due anni successivi siamo rimasti chiusi in saletta per preparare le sette canzoni che poco tempo fa abbiamo registrato al Microcosmo Studio da Luca Bilotta. Il mixaggio è stato fatto al Blue Noise Recording Studio da Fabio de Pretis e il mastering al das Ende der Dinge da Mauro Andreolli.
Sogni Oscuri è stata registrata a febbraio del 2008 al Microcosmo Studio di Luca Bilotta, mix e mastering sono di Mauro Andreolli.
Ad aprile 2008 entra in line up come bassista Mickey degli Starchild.
Ieri sono passato solo che avevate già finito... Poi son dovuto tornare a casa perchè mi è salito un disturbo intestinale dovuto all'inquinamento acustico =)
