Im Sinne dieses Verses von Arthur Schopenhauer taten sich Stefanie Sagert und Denny Hellbach im Jahr 2002 zusammen, um das gemeinsame Musikprojekt namens "Rescue Mission" ins Leben zu rufen. Das Singer-Songwriter-Duo aus Berlin bietet seine Songs mit Akustikgitarre und Bassbegleitung dar. Die Seele der Musik ist die besondere und ausdrucksstarke Stimme von Sängerin Stefanie Sagert, die überzeugt und Menschen erreicht.
2003 entstanden in den Siliziumwelt-Studios in Wildau bei Berlin bei Produzent Oliver Modisch elf Songs mit feiner Melancholie auf der Basis von akustischer Gitarre und coolen elektronisch arrangierten Beats und Sounds. „Be here“ heißt das Debütalbum, das Anfang 2004 bei Siliziumwelt-Musik erschien. Bei den folgenden zahlreichen Auftritten in Berlin und Umgebung konnte das Duo Erfahrungen sammeln, Kontakte knüpfen und Zuhörer begeistern. Zahlreiche weitere Songs entstanden, die Ende des Jahres 2007 aufgenommen wurden.
2008 schlagen „Rescue Mission“ mit „Natural Minor“ ihr zweites musikalisches Kapitel auf. Tanzbare Beats und 80er Jahre Basssounds, feingezupfte Akustikgitarren und ein Jazzschlagzeug im ¾-Takt - die musikalische Leinwand ist breit aufgezogen, gibt Platz für eingängige Songs mit musikalischer und textlicher Tiefe, vorgetragen von einer Ausnahmestimme. Der Tanz am Rande des Vulkans geht weiter.

In the spirit of this sentence from German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer, Stefanie Sagert and Denny Hellbach formed the band “Rescue Mission” in 2003. The Singer/Songwriter-Duo from Berlin presents their songs with acoustic-guitar, bass and harmony vocals. The soul of the music is the special, very unique and beautiful voice of Stefanie Sagert.
In 2003, together with talented musician and producer Oliver Modisch, the band went into the Siliziumwelt-Studios in Wildau near Berlin. There, they recorded eleven new songs, full of beauty, spirit, and a fine, somehow mystical touch of melancholy. The tracks and arrangements were built around a basis of an acoustic guitar, a bass guitar, electronic beats and very cool sound scapes and samples. “Be Here” was the name of their debut-album. It was released in 2004 by Siliziumwelt-Musik and received critical acclaim. The following years found the band playing many gigs and also sharing the stage with international artists - Allan Taylor, Songs Of Lemuria, Elias Matt, Katharina Franck (of Rainbirds fame) to mention a few. The last several years not only found the band performing and touring more and more, but also writing lots and lots of new songs. Stefanie and Denny, loaded with new material, went back into the recording studio in late 2007 to start work on their new album.
“Rescue Mission” opened their second musical chapter in 2008. “Natural Minor”, the follow-up CD to “Be Here”, offers very interesting style bass sounds and patterns, subtley picked acoustic guitars, jazz-drums playing ¾ beat, cool grooves, percussion and sounds. “Natural Minor” is like a mixture of a musical painting and a musical movie - in which the screen is thrown wide open and shows catchy songs with musical and lyrical depth, beautifully sung with exceptional talent. als kleinen vorgeschmack haben wir euch den song "drachen steigen gehen" bei myspace hochgeladen.
ja ich bin noch am schrauben und drehen und machen und tun ^^ aber bis jetzt klingt alles durchaus bombe und ansonsten funktioniert mein plan, die gitarre stehen zu lassen nur bedingt, aber ich muss es durchziehen um meine graphic novel fertig zu stellen. dein roman interessiert mich natürlich brennend, erzähl mal mehr ^^. und danke fürs frusciante kompliment, ich find niandra lades übrigens weniger nervig als noch vor ein paar jahren und hör sie eigentlich ganz gerne, aber du wahrscheinlich auch, nervige musik hat ja was.
