A couple of friends and a couple of strangers, brought together one night to help a friend salvage a gig, the RESCUE UNIT was born. The group is deeply rooted in bluegrass but its members tour with a wide diversity of bands. The Lonesome River Band, Terri Clark, Sam Bush, and Cages Bend to name a few. This dichotomy allows for a broad, creative approach to songs both new and old, and makes for some great music!
Pickers, singers, AND songwriters, the band is both a vehicle for debuting original material and slamming traditional bluegrass. You never know what you'll see and hear at a Rescue Unit show, but it's sure to be a fun time!
