Sean Reefer formed the Resin Valley Boys with the goal of bringing the sounds of classic country and western swing music back to a world that had forgotten how to two-step. Sean and the Boys quickly built a reputation as the swinginest band from Houston Texas, cementing that reputation with the release of their first full length album, "Texas Hill Country," in 2003. Their first nominations for Best C&W Act and Best New Act from the Houston Press Music Awards soon followed. Since then, Sean Reefer and the Resin Valley Boys have appeared onstage with such Texas legends as Asleep At The Wheel, Dale Watson and Wayne Hancock, and national acts like Scott H. Biram, Dave Alvin and the Guilty Men, Weary Boys, Big Sandy and his Flyrite Boys, and Junior Brown. In 2005 and 2006, Sean and the Boys received their second and third straight nominations for Best C&W Act from the Houston Press Music Awards, both times winning the prestigious title. Sean has been busy singing all over the great state of Texas ever since, winning new fans in every honky-tonk, dancehall, and lounge he and the Boys play in. Currently, they are in the studio recording material for a forthcoming, brand new full length release. Watch for them soon in your town. And bring your dancin' shoes; they'll wear 'em out for you soon enough.

Go to my site and look at the pics from the REINSTATE HANK RALLY June 7th in Trashville. Hank III was there, taking names in the REINSTATE HANK petition book and signing autographs. People of all ages went in and signed the petition. A huge number of people did not know Hank Sr. was NOT a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and all wanted to know "why". We were glad to let them know, they were all disgusted, and I am sure will pass the word along. Fanfare weekend was a great time to be there. REAL fans of Hank 3/Hank III & Hank Sr. go to FREEHANK3. Dropping in to say howdy. I'll try to get to Bandera Saturday. You owe me a phone call. Want to come in to the station before the show and pimp it a little?
dude, ya'll played the railhouse blues in Alpine, huh? Need to get back there and even play down in Terlingua... I will be living there soon and could set it up.
