Based in West London, The Resistors are a four-piece Alternative rock band. Their music has a wide range of influences, including - U2, Depeche Mode, Jesus Lizard, and many more... The songs move effortlessly between soaring, pop minded melodies, and raucous explosive guitars.
The project began in 2006 when Karl and Ed started writing together in their studio in Kilburn. It wasn't long before the guys felt something exciting was developing, and recruited close friends Geoff and Seb to complete the line-up.
With a full band in place, they eagerly started performing in and around London, whilst completing their self produced/financed album (yet to be released).
After all their achievements in 2007, 2008 is promising to be the year for The Resistors to make their mark on the U.K music scene, and the rest of the world.
