Resoldered makes music to get the blood pumping and the brain thinking. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. "American rockers, Resoldered, have a polished sound that takes elements of Punk and mixes it with some good old fashioned Hard Rock...Most of the songs here are high-octane, written to make you want to use up your energy like the great, 'Everybody In Between', that starts off like a shotgun and refuses to let up the pace throughout with no apologies, and this carries on with, 'Solder Me', which has elements of Alkaline Trio in it. Then we have, 'Media State (Finding A Voice)' that sounds like a more Punky, Queens Of The Stone Age, and some great straight up Punk in the NOFX-esque, 'Can't Stand' follows on...All in all this is a good album." -Jim Ody, Room Thirteen (read the full review in the blog above). .. "Whatever your beat keeping method, shaking your butt, thrashing your head or tapping your foot, Resoldered's music allows for a full range of techniques. These guys know how to rock, how to provide catchy, repeatable lyrics and how to enjoy themselves. It's a simple but successful formula rock n' rollers have been following for decades. Why change a good thing?" - Anna Strong, KDHX Local Artist Spotlight. .. ........ "The crunchy, snotty, breakneck pop-punk made famous by bands such as the Descendents and the Dead Milkmen is reborn in the metro East quartet Resoldered. For everyone who grudgingly admits that those first two Blink-182 records were actually pretty righteous, Resoldered's more loudfastrawk moments will revive your dormant pogo-dancing tendencies. "You Failed Me" kicks off the disc like a starter's pistol, a quick, strident kiss-off that makes its mark in less than two minutes." Christian Schaeffer, Riverfront Times (go to above blog to read more of this review). .. "(This) post-punk band's newest album, Everybody In Between, starts off at a blazing pace with "You Failed Me." This melodic post-punk song blows away any expectations you might have of working suits getting together to play in a band. The rest of the album...matches the high expectations "You Failed Me" sets up, without falling into the repetiveness of some genre punk. And, probably an advantage of having middle-aged song writer who's also a sociology professor, the lyrics are good, ranging from funny in "Can't Stand" to poignant in "I Won't Die For You."... In then end, their own lyrics sum up the feeling you might get discovering great post-punk (or whatever you want to call them) music coming from a middle-aged band in Edwardsville. "It's not impossible, just improbable."" - Paul Peters, edwardsvillescene.com (see above blog for more). .. .......... .. ...... .. Check out this new comp we are on! .. ...... ..

Bio:

Resoldered writes and plays original rock songs with punk sensibilities.

There is not much in the way of deep history about the band since Resoldered quickly developed out of Dave's Metro East garage into the Saint Louis original music scene in the summer of 2008. With Jason Hodge replacing Cory Blad on vocals in July 2009, Resoldered has continued to regularly play shows in and around the Saint Louis area with some very fine local, regional, and major touring bands including The Ataris, Scott Lucas of Local H, The All-Girl Boys Choir (Gore Gore Girls, ex-Kelly Osbourne), Ded Bugs, B&E, Strawfoot, Squidblade, Dead Zebbra, It's All About the Benjamins, Scene of Irony, Sloppy Seconds, The Union Blue, Giants in the Sky and many more.

Known for its energetic live shows as well as its ability to fuse rock with punk in a melodic but unpredictable way, the guys in Resoldered truly appreciate every minute they spend on stage as well as the people who come to their shows.

Resoldered's first full length debut album, Everybody in Between, released in April 2010, combines punk, post-punk, and rock into an energetic stew of songs that get the blood pumping and the brain thinking. The album is available through all of the main digital distributors and physical CDs are available directly from the band, at shows, cdbaby, Vintage Vinyl, and Slackers. ..
