Pierre Bastide - RésoMan - joue du dobro square neck depuis fort longtemps. Membre de La Bluegrass Compagnie, du Paris Bluegrass Band, de The Usual Suspects, du Belleville Blues Band et pigistes dans pas mal d'autres groupes, il est surtout connu pour être un jammeur fanatique et reconnu aussi bien en Europe qu'aux USA.
Le Walnut Valley Festival à Winfield, KS - USA, l'accueille régulièrement et l'a distingué comme étant un de ses membres permanents.
Il anime des stages de dobro particulièrement au Country Rendez-Vous à Craponne-sur-Arzon et au Bluegrass Workshop à La Roche sur Foron à la fin juillet de chaque année .
En plus de jouer du dobro il chante et joue de la guitare flatpicking.

Pierre Bastide, aka ResoMan, has picked the dobro for a many years.
Pierre is a regular member of The Bluegrass Compagnie, the Paris Bluegrass Band, The Usual Suspects, the Belleville Blues Band and a performs on the side with other bands. Although he plays in a bluegrass band Pierre is skilled in many styles of music and enjoys playing swing, blues, country and most forms of modern music. He has lead several resonator guitar workshops in Europe. Well known in jam circles in Europe and USA, Pierre is popular at the Walnut Valley Festival (WVF), and especially in his home away from home the WFV Comfortable Shoes Camp where he earned the title of Unofficial Reso Champion 2006. In a 2004 news article about WVF campground jams the reporter mentioned Pierre as the "french dobro player that sounded like a Nashville sessions player." He was also honored as a permanent member of the WVF in Winfield, KS - USA.
