I..m Kenneth Sands, I..ve been playing 'Didjeridu' and 'Yirdaki' since 1992.
Born and raised in Scotland, I travelled to live in Australia in '94 to study the origins of the instrument and Aboriginal people in general.
I made it to ArnhemLand and studied Yolngu playing with master Yirdaki Craftsmen and Galpu Clan Elder 'Djalu Gurruwiwi':

I moved to NZ in 1997 and created the Didjeridu Music Project 'RESONANCE' in 1999.
I co-produced and recorded the groundbreaking album 'RESONANCE-ORGANIC DANCE DIDJERIDU' and distributed it globally to receive worldwide critical acclaim in 2000.
Although the Didjeridu Music Project 'RESONANCE' no longer performs, I now regularly tour NZ performing, teaching, and lecturing about Didjeridu.
I offer a Multi-Media Presentation on Didjeridu to Schools and Corporate Events anywhere in NZ.
In between times I..m also a Professional Broadcast Director of Photography, Camera Operator, Field Director and Hot-Head, Camera Crane Specialist (Techno Crane, Jimmy Jib, Wescam, CineFlex Helicam Systems), travelling NZ and worldwide working on many Television Events.

My other interests are Celtic History, Prehistoric Music, 'Taonga Puoro' (Traditional Maori Musical Instruments), Whip-Cracking (Bullwhips and Stockwhips), Cetaceans, Astronomy, Sci-Fi (gotta love BSG Season 4 and Doctor Who Season 4!), Diving (Padi Rescue Diver), enjoying NZ..s amazing beaches and wild natural expanses!!!

after half a year of "doing nothing" (shame on us...) we finally managed to record some old songs and new ideas which are all still in progress. This was made in one hour so dont expect too much but we will work that out.
This is just to give you an impression in what direction Caverock will move in the future and hopefully release a CD in the mid of the year. We will be on the 30. of may in Palmanova (Italy), hope to see some of you there. Best vibez to you...
