Pascal Mesnier is a musician specialized in resophonic guitars, based in Paris.
His path is the classic route from passion to professionalism.
After exploring in depth a startling range of acoustic blues and folk style all centered on the slide,he has become an in-demand accompanist and soloist on the European scene.
From 1976 to 1981 he studied acoustic guitar blues at the American Center with Alain Giroux (the French Big Bill Broonzy)
At the end of this period he became impassioned by the slide guitar in all its forms: Hawaiian, blues, and calypso among other genres, bottleneck and lap steel techniques.
