Its still "folk music with overdrive," but the Resophonics (2004 Boston Music Award winners for Outstanding Folk Act) introduce elements lacking in most modern bluegrass music-great original songs played with passion, energy and humor that is at home in a rock club as on a festival stage. Together, the four members combine elements of the traditional string band and the contemporary songwriter to create a unique sound that is rooted in tradition without sounding dated, modern yet with substance.

Aw, crap... I'm so bummed that I'm going to miss at least the first two Wednesdays at Atwood's. At least I have two albums on my iPod to listen to. Greetings from the hospital!
Thank you...I was having the crappiest of crapy weeks, and then I came to Atwoods to hear The Resophonics and all was well and good with the world again. You made my soul smile...thanks so very much!!
Sean, So nice to find you again. It's been too long since we heard you perform live. Now that we are back in New England we will need to come out and listen to you and the Resophonics.
