Its still "folk music with overdrive," but the Resophonics (2004 Boston Music Award winners for Outstanding Folk Act) introduce elements lacking in most modern bluegrass music-great original songs played with passion, energy and humor that is at home in a rock club as on a festival stage. Together, the four members combine elements of the traditional string band and the contemporary songwriter to create a unique sound that is rooted in tradition without sounding dated, modern yet with substance.

Today I would like to let you know about two print magazines in Germany I'm writing for.
"Living Line Dance", reporting about line dance and country music, and "Folk Magazine", reporting about folk and country music. The magazines are high respected in Europe. They offer you a good chance to publicize yourself in Europe and Germany.
For more information, please contact me at MySpace or send email to Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de with the headline "Advertise at Living Line Dance and Folk Magazine".
The other night I had the privilege of filming the Resophonics who I hope very much to work with again and ongoingly. this is one of the finest Americana music groups that bring the richness of honesty to what they play. I urge you to attend their performances, buy multiple copies of their wonderful cd for gifts, car and home.
isaac would love to tour with you. he'll want to bring his little sister now, but she is one hell of a dancer. btw he sings "little julia (julie-a)" to her alot, slight song name change i know but i told him that you wouldn't mind too much.
