The word Restoration means, “the return of something that was removed.” In this case, the return to minister, to God’s call, the return of hope. Group members Rachel Williams, Larry Morris and Becky Locklear are siblings who used to travel the east coast singing at churches and concert venues. They traveled together ministering as teens and children but as they got older and started their own families, the group decided to come off of the road and become more active in their home church.
Upon returning to ministry, they chose the name Restoration because it is their testimony in one word. Rachel Williams, lead singer says “God has restored what once was and has given it new life.” Now Rachel, Larry and Becky are joined by musician and Becky’s Husband Rodney Locklear. Also now a part of the group is Rachel’s husband, Michael Williams, who serves as Executive Producer.
There are very interesting roots running in this group. Rodney is a Native American of Lumbee Indian descent. Larry is the Pastor of their home church in Barboursville, VA. Therefore he understands the needs of Pastors and is a big part of the group’s encouragement not only to the congregation but also their leaders.
Restoration – more than a name; it is this group’s mission statement. “We want to be an encouragement to the broken hearted, to help show them that God can "restore" what time or heartache has stolen. Each member of the group has inspiring testimonies that prove what an awesome God we serve! “
Restoration’s first album entitled, “Restored,” was released in November of 2007. Their first radio single, “Thanks To You” was well received at radio nationwide. They recently completed their new project "Claim Your Victory" which was released in early 2009.

This is one of the nicest e-mails I have seen and is so true:
I dreamed that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels. My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, ' This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received. '
I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.
Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.
The angel then said to me, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them." I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth.
Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station. To my great surprise
