Restraint is a hard rock band based out of Kansas City, MO. We are currently in our 7th year together and still going very strong. We recently released our second full-length album, titled "Worth the Risk". You can hit us up on our myspace page, or at a show to get yourself a copy. We also have plenty of other merchandise, like t-shirts, and also our first full-length album, titled "The Piercing Sound of Silence". We cant define our sound to just one type of band, which in the music world, always seems to be a good quality to have. But, we do have elements of many of our favorite bands and influences. The main influences being bands like Taproot, Sevendust, Chevelle, Tool, and Deftones. We dont pretend to be the best band in the world, or even in Kansas City, but we put on a hell of a live show. We are very entertaining and very personable, and will easily be some of the nicest guys you will ever meet. We appreciate every friend we've had over the years, and every new friend/fan we meet with each new show. The key to staying respected, is staying humble, and down to earth, and those are qualities we will never lose. We are in this for the love of music, and the love of playing live events, and the love of meeting new people. Our music is full of emotion, full of passion, and full of energy. But, we by no means take ourselves too seriously. We are in this to rock, hard hard, melt faces, and have a damn good time in the process. Thank you for checking us out.
