After ten years of living a second generation flower child's life, I grabbed my moms guitar and started to bang the shit out of it and tinker with songwriting. Well, the first tunes did not show the promise of what would become my career as a Singer/Songwriter – Producer – Rock'n'Roller. But after some years playing in various teeny bopper punk bands and non-hairwashed grungerock combos, I found the true rhythm my heart was beating to.
I traveled the world, recording in and out the USA and Switzerland, meeting some great musicians and good producers (and a few shitty ones as well). The German label BlueRose Records released three albums of mine. "Echopark" 2001, "Shaking Off Monkeys" 2002, "Roses Fade Blue" 2004.
After playing numerous shows, some of my musicians and I formed a band called BURRELL... yes, that's right, we used my last name... how visionary ;-). We put out two albums "Burrell" 2004 and "HelloHelloHello" 2006 on our own label, distributed in Switzerland only and lived on the road for quite a while.
I've been writing songs and/or producing records for other great Swiss artist such as TRUMMER, KANDLBAUER, COAL (my bro), MOTHER'S PRIDE, VIVIAN, MYRTO, TRAUFFER, ADRIAN STERN, AIRBAEG, MAVE, SALOME, PATRICK JONSSON, FAILED TEACHERS
So if you're asking yourself what is Reto doing now. Right now, in this moment... I'm doing what I've always been doing, besides of being a Rock'n'Roll Dad ;-). I'm writing songs and playing shows, making music just to keep me busy.
I really hope to meet you (yeah you!) somewhere on the middle of the road, in a stinky small bar (my favourite!) or at the backdoor of a stadium concert, waving your backstage pass and yelling "let me in, honey"!

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.

Thanks for the kind words. The venue I am playing at next week is called 'The Music Row Bar & Grill'. It's on Scarritt Place, just off of 21st, in Hillboro Villlage.
