I'm 18 years old and am an incoming freshman at Robert Morris University. I will be majoring in Communications and minoring in Public Relations in hopes of becoming a sports writer or sports anchor someday. I could not see myself doing anything else in my life. I work at Gateway Travel Plaza Restaurant in Breezewood as a line cook. Definitely just a part-time job, nothing special. I graduated from Everett High School this June. The Class of 2009 is the greatest class ever and I love every single one of them. I was very active at Everett; I was in National Honor Society, STUCO, FBLA, Band, and was the class chaplain. I was named Best Dressed and Class Psycharist in our senior superlatives, so I like looking good and I am always here to listen to your problems. I also played football, basketball, and ran track for the Warriors. One of the proudest achievements in my life is when our basketball team upset North Star in the District 5-AA championship - it was our first title in the last 18 years. I plan on lifting over the next year and play intermural basketball at RMU in hopes of being able to walk onto the actual team during my sophomore year. I'm a huge fan of the Tennessee Titans, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Penguins, Penn State football, North Carolina basketball, and Kasey Kahne. I cannot stand the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Red Wings, Notre Dame football, Ohio State football, Duke basketball, Pitt football and basketball, Jeff Gordon, and Jimmie Johnson. As well as sports, I love music. I played percussion in the band since my 5th grade year, and write lyrics in my spare time. In fact, writing songs is a way to relax for me, and I have dreams of doing that with my life if the sports writer/anchor thing doesn't work out. Most of my songs deal with how I'm feeling at the time and situations I've been put in - feel free to check them out in my blogs and tell me what you think of them. ;) I can listen to Eminem all day, but I have a wide variety of different genres that I enjoy. Don't be surprised if I know all the words to a song also. :p One of my favorite things to do is to make people laugh or just to put a smile on someone's face. I've been told I'm pretty good at that. :) I've also been told I'm pretty sweet, and always go out of my way to do stuff for my friends. I will admit though that I do have a cocky side to me, once in a while. I also can't settle on being ordinary, like when I'm doing something special for a girl. Like for example, I wrote a song to ask a girl to prom. I see myself marrying Taylor Swift someday, haha. I wish. She's absolutely amazing and I would love to meet her in my lifetime. Speaking of relationships, I'm not the luckiest when it comes to them. My longest one lasted a total of one month. I don't know what it is, but I have the worst luck with them. lol i really hope not! i put my notice in on sunday at hardees and had to take it back today because i figured they werent hiring me... that was before i went and talked to them. so i'm sure netty will be twice as mad if i go put it on the second time, for real, haha.
i went and talked to them today, the lady who talked to them for me said that they're still interviewing for the gift shop apparently, which is why they didnt call...
